We have a hardy group of kaumātua who get together regularly on a Monday from 10am to 12.00noon at Whare Raumati, Hīkoikoi, 24d Marine Parade, Petone.
There is a core group of 12 kaumātua who come along each week. It is a great way for kaumātua to socialise with one another, remember and share stories, have a good laugh and a bit of fun. In the summertime they might be out in the sunshine tending to the gardens onsite or getting involved in an organised activity. It is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and whānau in the area. All are welcome to come along and participate.
